Save time and costs
Every charge planning automatically optimizes the travel time, the electricity cost, or both — you decide what matters.
A route planner knows where you can charge (theoretically). LadeGuide knows where, when and at which tariff you do it most efficiently — in time and money.
Anyone planning an EV trip today usually gets a route planner: the fastest way from A to B, plus a series of charging points that the algorithm inserts along the way. Which tariff sits behind the column, which charging card already belongs to you, and whether the stop was already planned — that is reserved for you. The algorithm decides the route, you pay the residual costs.
The catch: the fastest and the cheapest ride are rarely the same one. Whoever takes only the fastest route usually pays for the most expensive electricity. Whoever only looks at the price loses time. And no one wants to open five apps on every leg in order to find out what is faster at the end and what is cheaper.
That is why we built LadeGuide as an intelligent charging assistant, not as yet another route planner: every planning automatically optimizes the travel time, the electricity cost, or both — depending on what you prioritize. And it builds on what you already have: your charging cards, your tariffs and your preferences. More efficient charging is exactly that for us: the right charge, in the right place, at the right price — not the fastest route at any cost.
Every charge planning automatically optimizes the travel time, the electricity cost, or both — you decide what matters.
The app plans routes and charging stops deliberately so that you charge cheaply with your existing charging cards and tariffs — without a new subscription at all.
Which tariff fits your driving profile? LadeGuide compares by driving profile, usage frequency and available tariffs — the charging card comparison shows you the entry point.
Restaurants along the route, preferred charging operators, driving time and overnight stays, speed — or tolls and route costs: the planning follows your criteria, not the other way round.
New tariffs, new charging cards, charging infrastructure — current and practical, collected in our news overview.
Behind LadeGuide is the Matzner GmbH — for all legal questions you'll find us in the imprint.
LadeGuide was created for everyone who drives an electric vehicle and uses public charging points (AC, DC, HPC) and wants to optimize electricity cost, charging time, and battery health — from the daily commute to the long distance. The planning works in 45 countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the majority of EU states.
The current status: the LadeGuide app is in development and soon to be available. Until then we have made the knowledge base public — EV charging, charging strategy, charging types, charging curve, charging cards, charging costs, THG quota and THG premium, and news — so you can already charge more efficiently today, without the app.
The app is in development and will be available soon. Anyone who wants to try the first version is on the waitlist right now.
