Charging your EV: how it works — your hands-on support

From the first charge to a full battery — it is about to become practical

The four areas — Ecosystem & market, Charging tech, Charging & costs, and Service — explain how charging an EV works. The practical service makes the difference: you learn it from one person, on your vehicle, with your charging cards and your tariffs — whether you feel lost at the charging station, or simply want to be safe the first time.

Personal charging support for private EV buyers

You have your EV (soon) — and don't know how your charging is supposed to work? That is exactly what the hands-on appointment is for: learning on your own vehicle and with your own charging cards.

On site for the charge

We meet you at your wallbox, at the charging wall at home, or directly at the public charging station. Plug, charging card, starting the app, and payment: you charge, we look over your shoulder — until it feels as if you have already done it a hundred times.

When nothing works at the charging station

Are you standing at the charging station and feeling lost? We join in and walk through the app, the charging card, and the payment together with you — so that the next charge is the last unclear one.

How an appointment works

  1. You describe where it is getting stuck: vehicle, station, app, or charging card.
  2. We confirm the appointment: on site, remote, or a mix of both.
  3. After the appointment: your charging card, your tariff, and your app are set up so that charging feels easy.

Your home wallbox — from planning to the first charge

The charging station is not the only topic: those who charge at home are usually facing a large question — which wallbox fits? And what exactly has to be considered in a detached house, and especially in a multi-family residential building (MFH)? From load management to the necessary tenant information: we take on the complete companion service.

Consulting for the purchase & installation of a wallbox

Which Type 2 device, or with a charging cable? Which features, such as power monitoring or RFID integration, do you really need? We help with selecting the hardware and offer neutral consulting between the installer and the grid operator.

An EV in a multi-family building (MFH)

Since 1 December 2020, the installation of a wallbox in an MFH is legally secured: tenants (for tenants § 554 BGB) and owners (for owners § 20 WEG) are entitled to consent — the applicant bears the cost. We analyze the meter room, the cabling, and the load management, clarify your right to your own electricity meter, and prepare the necessary tenant information in line with the statutory requirements.

Optimizing the electricity tariff & contracts

Charging an EV at home often requires an appropriate electricity meter and the right tariff. We compare your options (a two-tariff meter, green electricity, the wallbox's own packages) and make sure that from day one you charge efficiently & cost-effectively.

Do you need support with the wallbox?

We accompany you from the planning to the completed installation of your charging station. Whether you need support with questions about the metering cabinet and the cabling, about the load management, or about the preparation of the tenant information — we offer you a comprehensive solution.
